About The Position

Plans, directs and controls all activities of the Fabric department operation, consisting of a variety of needle punch and structuring lines with approx. 80-100 associates and a 24/7 operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and JD Edwards
• Strong verbal/written communication skills and basic arithmetic
• Ability to read and interpret complex documentation
• Previous leadership experience in a technical or manufacturing environment
• 10 years Needle punch nonwovens experience
• Capital expenditure and project management experience

• Integrate with Senior Leadership team participating in overall Business Strategy development
• Drives profitable growth
• Dynamic leader who can act as a change agent on our LEAN journey
• Ensures fabric operation is acting with synergy within the total site
• Develops metrics consistent with business performance objectives
• Accountable and responsible for Safety, Quality and Productivity
• Staffing: Hiring/Training/Retention responsibilities
• Troubleshooting equipment and production issues
• Leading departmental meetings and presentations
