About The Position

Fabric & Leather Upholstery Sewer (Archdale, N.C) Qualifications & Experience: A minimum of 3 or more years of experience in sewing for fine custom furniture pieces (fabric and leather) Demonstrated ability to DOUBLE-NEEDLE sew in an upholstery manufacturing environment Ability to read production tickets and any special instructions Understanding of fabric layout-COM, Center Cut, flow match, plain/leather covers Properly sew flow and center matched covers Must know how to thread sewing machine & change needle safely Ability to work at a productive pace with no errors Know how to make a corner Knowledge of an inch seam Utilize tools such as sewing machine, scissors etc. Benefits: Stickley offers a competitive benefits package including: Perfect Attendance Program-Earn MORE Paid Time Off! Requirements

• A minimum of 3 or more years of experience in sewing for fine custom furniture pieces (fabric and leather)
• Demonstrated ability to DOUBLE-NEEDLE sew in an upholstery manufacturing environment
