The Fabrication Quality Inspector plays a key role in ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance throughout the fabrication process. This position is responsible for performing detailed inspections, verifying accuracy against engineering drawings and specifications, and supporting continuous improvement by identifying and communicating non‑conformances. Successful inspectors collaborate closely with fabrication, assembly, and front‑end engineering teams to ensure all products meet Eaton’s standards and customer requirements. Perform containment activities for quality issues identified internally and through warranty claims including sorting activities, and drive corrective and preventive action to eliminate/minimize the Quality issues identified during inspections. The Fab Inspector drives inspection effectiveness, escalates and resolves quality issues, maintains robust documentation, and partners with Production, and Engineering to prevent defects, escapes of non-conforming components, and delivers defect data to metrics owners and production associates to drive improvements.
