About The Position

As a Team Leader on the 1st shift at our manufacturing plant, you responsible for leading the production team in such a manner to ensure production requirements, quality and delivery expectations of the customers are met, with a strong emphasis on power lean methodology. This position offers an opportunity to apply your leadership skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requires frequent and variable lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

2 years of related experience and/or training
Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and other departments
Ability to frequently and variably lift, pull, push, and carry up to 50 pounds
High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

Coordinating the work of employees
Reading blueprints
Maintaining strong communication with employees, other team leaders, and management
Maintaining high quality procedures
Upholding safety and housekeeping policies
Enhancement of productivity
Marinating area with inventory control in mind
Maintaining equipment
Setting up equipment
Frequent and variable lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of up to 50 pounds
Preform other duties deemed necessary by management
