Join us and be part of our success!  Summary: Provides leadership, consultation, and direction to all maintenance departments. Performs administrative duties in preparing and maintaining records, reviews maintenance production and preventive maintenance reports and follows through on deviations from expected results and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in engineering or business administration; and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • knowledge of Internet software; Manufacturing software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Responsibilities

  • Directs maintenance departments for both slaughter and debone plants.
  • Performs administrative duties in preparing and analyzing reports for maintenance.
  • Holds maintenance supervisors accountable for hourly maintenance personnel and maintenance downtime.
  • Manages the learning and training of subordinates to continually improve their knowledge and skills.
  • Maintains close and effective working relationship with production, quality control, and USDA.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Must pass a background investigation.
