Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM field
  • 10 years of data analytics experience, or an Advanced Degree in STEM field with 7 years of data analytics experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with majority of the following tools and technologies: SQL, Python, Power BI, Databricks, and Excel (including Visual Basic for Applications)
  • Experience working with large datasets, data warehousing, and database management systems within Aerospace and Defense Industry

Responsibilities

  • Lead and present global depot performance metrics and key process indicators at the Depot Working Group, leveraging advanced data visualization and analytics tools.
  • Refactor Excel-based forecasting and business models into scalable, script-based solutions with optimized data architectures and machine learning capabilities.
  • Automate and optimize manual business processes by delivering near-term data science solutions, prototyping predictive analytics tools, and supporting long-term digital transformation initiatives.
  • Drive data governance efforts for maintenance analytics, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and compliance across systems.
  • Develop and maintain reusable, scalable data models and products using the F135 data product developer platform and cutting-edge machine learning frameworks.
  • Lead the creation of automated, dynamic dashboards and reports to track global depot performance and conduct statistical analyses to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the Digital Enablement team to pilot advanced technologies (e.g., AI/ML, DBT) and integrate predictive models and emerging tools into forecasting and business processes.
  • Stay informed on advancements in data science, identify opportunities to innovate, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives by developing new analytics capabilities and tools.
  • Strengthen your technical expertise in Python, SQL, Power BI, Databricks, and emerging data science tools like AI/ML frameworks and DBT.
  • Gain hands-on experience in optimizing the performance of a global maintenance network using data science techniques.
  • Build proficiency in driving enterprise-scale digital transformation and predictive analytics initiatives.
