As the F135 Database Access & Integrity Manager you will be the primary programmer for identifying discrepant data within Maintenix, the F135 System of Record for depot level parts. As part of the FDM Data Systems Team, you will learn the key inputs and outputs of our digital system infrastructure, perform multi-platform and system data investigations, recommend data adjustments/corrections to accurately reflect flying hardware/flight eligible spares hardware data, and advise the larger enterprise on software or process changes to mitigate the risk of similar defects. Other job duties will include collaboration with cross functional teams, execution of full fleet data reviews, KPI evaluation and communication of necessary information with key stakeholders. Lastly, you will prioritize the work based on impacts to safety and/or fleet readiness and customer satisfaction with use of KPIs.

  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support key business objectives.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to extract insights, validate assumptions, and support decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data analysts, and engineers, to understand and address business challenges.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions, creating software that is both robust and scalable.
  • Perform database updates and corrections based on data analysis of parts configuration and usage history
  • Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries using Oracle SQL.
  • Design and implement database schemas, tables, and relationships optimized for performance and scalability.
  • Review maintenance records, both digital and manual
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8 years of data programming/ data analytics experience or An advance degree with 5 years of data programming/ data analytics or "in lieu of degree" with 12 years experience of data programming/ data analytics
  • Proficient in current programming languages such as Python, Java or equivalent
  • Experience using Oracle SQL Dialect and / or Oracle PL/SQL
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Experience with business analytics and / or exploratory data analysis working with large datasets.
  • Experience in enterprise applications such as SAP, or experience with computerized maintenance management systems
  • Experience using Databricks or similar data analytics platform
  • Experience in web development
  • Prior experience in safety critical applications environment
