About The Position
Asbury Automotive Group, a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest franchised automotive retailers in the United States, is seeking a Finance & Insurance Manager to join our team at Coggin Automotive Group in Jacksonville, FL. This position is pivotal in redefining the traditional dealership model through innovative technologies and a commitment to exceptional guest experiences. The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in managing the financial transactions involved in the vehicle buying experience, ensuring that each customer receives the highest level of service and support throughout the process. In this role, the Finance & Insurance Manager will work closely with lenders to secure bank approvals for vehicle purchases, produce necessary financial paperwork, and consult with staff on DMV laws. The successful candidate will collaborate directly with the sales team and customers to facilitate the financial aspects of car buying, building rapport with customers to establish a network of referrals. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can maintain organization in a fast-paced environment while achieving monthly objectives and adhering to all local and national regulations. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for producing and submitting accurate paperwork for title work, securing funding from finance sources, and handling customer money during transactions. Additionally, the role involves advising the sales team on new and recently changed state laws related to vehicle purchases, partnering with service advisors to assist customers with extended warranty purchases, and maintaining strong relationships with lenders and vendors. A successful Finance Manager will be self-motivated, a strategic thinker, and possess advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and dealership management systems.
