POSITION OBJECTIVE: To Supervise the Front of House Operations in all food, beverage and retail venues, while maintaining and continuing to develop an environment that creates excitement and an incredible experience for both our team members and guest. Job Summary: The primary responsibility is for efficient and proper operations in all food, beverage, and retail venues. Exhibit knowledge of product lines, prices, and full awareness of safety, sanitation, alcohol service laws, and regulations. Provides efficient and smooth guest service according to the standards required by the NRWC, while promoting and exhibiting excellent Guest Service to all the NRWC team members and guests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • 1 years of high-volume restaurant/bar supervisory experience or combined experience in a leadership role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • Experience in decision making.
  • Experience in problem solving.
  • Food Handler permit.
  • Class 12 Mixologist permit.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Inventory Experience
  • Intermediate computer knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience using a P.O.S. system.
  • Ability to multi-task, work efficiently, and in a consistent manner.
  • Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
  • Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
  • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for assigned shift.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Manual and finger dexterity for operation of personal computer and routine paperwork.
  • Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke-filled environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of supervisory experience in a multi-venue restaurant facility and/or casino operation.
  • 2 years of high-volume restaurant/bar management experience.
  • 1 year of retail sales experience.
  • College level or accredited training course(s) in related fields of business management.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the FOH food venues during assigned shift.
  • Ensure department complies with all regulations regarding health and safety for team members and guests.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws regarding alcohol service.
  • Handle team member disputes in a timely manner.
  • Acts as an intermediary when guests have a complaint or concern.
  • Function as a “hands-on” shift supervisor.
  • Assist in the hiring and training of new team members as well as the continuous training of existing team members.
  • Ensures that subordinates are working productively at all times.
  • Ensures an open and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Promotes positive guest and team member relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
  • Ensures the highest standards of personal appearance are maintained.
  • Communicate all guest service hurdles.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Work with Food Operations Manager and F&B Purchaser (If needed) to order established par lists.
  • Monitors and rotates stock.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to track usage and minimize waste
  • Perform pre-shift huddles.
  • Ensure that the high quality of service, food and beverage presentations, cleanliness and guest service standards are being met in all food, beverage and retail venues.
  • Responsible for team member coaching, counseling, and administering disciplinary actions in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Complete daily shifts reports
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with team members and guests.
  • Provide exceptional guest service and lead the team to do the same.
  • Plan and prepare schedules and coordinate daily assignments and activities of team members to meet the needs of the venues.
  • Perform team member evaluations.
  • Knowledge of casino promotions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
