About The Position

Lead the experience where great service meets dynamic operations as a Food and Beverage Shift Manager. In this role, the F&B Shift Manager drives excellence across assigned bars and restaurant outlets by leading teams, elevating guest experiences, and ensuring smooth, compliant, and profitable shift operations in a fast paced, 24 hour environment. This leader sets the tone through hands on leadership, clear communication, and a strong commitment to service standards, while coaching and developing staff, managing schedules, coordinating closely with kitchen leadership, and responding confidently to operational or guest concerns. The role oversees inventory control, cost management, payroll accuracy, and detailed shift reporting, all while upholding local, state, federal, and gaming regulations related to food, beverage, and alcohol service. As a visible leader on the floor, the F&B Shift Manager balances operational discipline with a guest first mindset, using sound judgment, adaptability, and professionalism to deliver memorable experiences and consistently high performance throughout every shift. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Associate degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field
  • Four years of full-service food and beverage
  • One year of leadership experience in a high-volume hospitality environment
  • All applicants must obtain a Class III A license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage food and beverage staff while maintaining schedules that ensure proper coverage and consistent, high quality guest service.
  • Partner with kitchen leadership to ensure smooth, efficient shift operations and address operational or guest related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost controls to maximize resources, minimize waste, and prevent loss.
  • Ensure compliance with all department policies, service standards, and applicable food, beverage, alcohol, and gaming regulations.
  • Complete accurate shift reporting, payroll processing, and ongoing communication with leadership regarding performance, sales, guest feedback, and improvement opportunities.
