F & B Manager, Surf Hero Marketplace
About The Position
WHAT YOU’LL DO - Interviews, selects, trains, supervises, counsels, disciplines and participates in the evaluation of restaurant associates for the efficient operation of the restaurant. Schedules and directs staff in their work assignments. - Select and order quality merchandise to meet the needs of the hotel guests. Ensure that all merchandise is recorded and programmed into the cash register. Determine par levels of merchandise and conduct monthly inventory calculations. - Ensure the maintenance and appealing merchandising of the Surf Hero Marketplace. - Determine pricing of all gift shop merchandise to meet the established profit %. Verify all invoices with accounting. - Manage vendors, records, budgets, forecasts, sales strategies, delivery records and other administrative functions of the department. Ensure the verification and inspection of incoming products. - Determine hours of operation and schedule staff to meet the needs of the hotel. Monitor and approve payroll records and reports. - Meet and greet guests, provide assistance as required. Complete the sales of orders for guests by utilizing cash register. Requirements
- At least two years’ experience in related field.
- Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations and preparation techniques.
- Ability to identify and select products based on trends.
- Strong mathematical abilities in order to determine and track inventory, controls, revenue productions, and other hotel financial statements.
- Ability to work under pressure, high-volume, and manage with stressful situations during busy periods.
Nice To Haves
- Four-year college degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred.
