About The Position

Join our Lockheed Martin (LM) Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team at Edwards AFB, California as the F-35 Supply Field Service Representative (FSR). The selected candidate will be expected to provide temporary deployment support, staffing coverage, and customer training as needed with expected travel greater than 25% of year to various domestic and international deployment sites. What You Will Be Doing Serve as the main supply chain logistics liaison for our F-35 internal and external customers and our strategic partners. Function as the LM subject matter expert for warehouse inventory management, and will be responsible for briefing senior-level management on key performance indicators and supply chain metrics. Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally on short notice. Combined travel time could be >25% per year. Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAPS) support and coordination with Operation Support (OPS) Center / Expedite Processing Analyze and resolve customer-raised Supply Chain Management (SCM) sustainment issues Leading root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives Assist with Import/Export shipments Assist the customer with Part Number and/or National Stock Number clarification Assist the customer with identifying and processing Hazmat, Shelf Life, Electronic Sensitive Devices/Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) identification, and organizational refusals Material survey support and non-conformance/ quarantine issues. Respond to priority customer requests required for mission support, to include after-hours support Assist customer with following proper inventory accuracy requirements Provide training and support to the customer for supply related topics Conduct regular meetings with customer supply and maintenance teams to gather feedback and drive resolution on customer concerns. The position is co-located with the customer, so the ability to work within a team environment is critical to success. Must be a US Citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting and must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance. Requirements

  • Experience with F-35 Supply Chain Management Logistics processes and procedures.
  • Experience with Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAPS) support and component Repair Cycle/Return Material Authorization (RMA) physically and virtually through the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
  • Experience coordinating with Item Managers, Supply Service Providers, and Maintenance Logistics Support Manager on logistics issues.
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting and must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Field Service Rep experience; international preferred with Import/Export customs experience
  • Experience working with Foreign Nationals and working within foreign cultures.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Certified in HazMat Shipping (CFR-49 and IATA).
  • Experience with data analysis and metric development.
  • Operate standard Material Handling Equipment to include forklift (4K, 6K, 10K, 15K), floor lift, hand dolly, pallet jacks, utility carts, vertical storage units, etc.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of wearing personal protective equipment as needed while performing tasks in loud work environments.
  • Capable of working in extreme heat or extreme cold environments.
  • Able to deploy to both F-35 and non-F-35 locations to support customer operations.
  • Possess the ability to perform periodic inspections and inventories.
  • Self-starter, with ability to build and maintain positive work relationships. Have strong project management and interpersonal skills and be able to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
