Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team as a Software Integration Requirements and Planning Engineer Staff embedded within the Ogden Air Logistic Complex (Hill Air Force Base, Utah) software engineering group. Our team is responsible for developing and designing F-16 aircraft specific software for the aircraft Operational Flight Program (OFP) and/or sub-system flight computers. What you will be doing: Responsibilities include: • Provide on-site technical support in the development of aircraft OFPs. • Develops subsystem and system level requirements, monitor software implementation, and coordinate processes with system test, flight test, and operational F-16 units. • Interpret and decompose aircraft and weapons requirements to develop manual and automated tests. • Coordinate and communicate with software test team members to plan and execute tests across the spectrum of the development processes. • Document findings and results in accordance with established development and configuration management processes. • This position may require occasional travel. • Must be a US Citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a government Secret Security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college.
• Experience with any combination of the following: aircraft electronic / avionics systems, air to air weapons, air to ground weapons, sensors, and/or communications, or Electronic Warfare (EW) integration test operations.
• Technical writing experience
• Software and hardware integration design experience
• Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power-point, Access, etc.)
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a government Secret Security clearance.
• This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

• Technical bachelors degree or a Masters Degree.
• Extensive knowledge or experience with U.S. military aviation operations.
• Knowledge of F-16 aircraft avionics systems including Pilot Vehicle Interfaces (PVI), internal electronic bus structure, and subsystem integration operations.
• Working knowledge of F-16 specific aircraft sub-systems, weapon systems and how they integrate with the on-board computer processors.
• Ability to effectively interface with civilian government, DoD, and industry representatives.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and must be able to work well in a team environment.
