Primary Job Responsibilities Set up and operate extrusion machines according to job specifications and safety standards Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent quality and output Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, temperature, pressure) to maintain optimal production conditions Make repairs to equipment when necessary and replace all broken and/or worn components Perform routine quality checks and inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges Record production data and complete shift logs accurately Load raw materials and monitor material feed Follow all safety procedures and report any safety problems to the Production Manager immediately Commitment to our continuous improvement and safety initiatives Identify, label, weigh and dispose of scrap Clean and maintain machines and work area to ensure operational efficiency Collaborate with maintenance and quality control teams as needed Fulfill the role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instruction Identify and resolve basic machine malfunctions or deviation Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school graduate, GED or equivalent
  • 6 months of manufacturing experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. standing/walking 8 hours per day
  • Ability to read and write English clearly and concisely.
  • Must have the capability to correctly identify the different materials and product
  • Ability to drive a forklift to move material and pipe
  • Must be able to work with minimum direction after being trained
