About The Position

Leads the reporting and optimization of inventory, ensuring the seamless flow of materials contributes to the assembly area and the vinyl windows fabrication for all communities across North America. The role aims to be responsible for inventory working capital through data analytics, cross-functional project management, and process improvements. Possess strong communication skills and knowledge of plant layout. Supports strategies related to inventory segmentation, lead-time differentiation, dynamic sourcing, and what-if scenario planning. Leads weekly Quality of Inventory reporting, after scanning, deploying collaborative calls to root cause and product shortages mitigation, as well as excess inventory positions. Perform duties within specified time frames and guidelines. Support product management efforts by coordinating ramp-up and ramp-down Inventory plans Timely control of pull and prepare production materials for the daily assembly/transfer operations. Understand and optimize product redundancy through consigned inventory, labeling, and relabeling to support scheduling. Demonstrate flexibility to work in different areas of the department as needed. Lead quarterly and year-end inventories. Partner with Extrusion leadership and associates to become a premier building solutions provider.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree, materials inventory experience, or similar supply chain roles preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization, including routine T4 report-outs.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills; ability to strategically prioritize work, facilitate effective decision making, and drive results.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and motivate a diverse group of associates.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including DBMS, SQL, and InfoFlo, is a plus.
