Extrusion Line Operator 2nd SHIFT Essential Job Duties: Assist in line start-up. Stack completed product in racks. Perform quality checks on profile. Monitor correct machine operation. Adjust machine for minor problems. Keep compound and pigment loaders full. Grind profile as needed. Keep work area neat and clean. Additional duties may be assigned as needed for business purposes. Assists with quality assurance through visual observations and makes initial judgment on product quality. Assist with the training of all operators

Requirements

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must have the ability to read, write and count.
  • Must be able to read scale calipers and micrometers and understand the metric system.
  • Must have demonstrated effective communications skills and the ability to be a team player
  • Must have the ability to learn the job duties within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the supervisor.
  • Must be able to lift approximately 40-50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience – 6 months to one year in the vinyl extrusion industry.
