About The Position

Seda North America is seeking an Extrusion Line Operator- Night Shift to join our team! If you have 3+ years experience in the operating extrusion lines in the plastics industry, apply here! $1,500 Sign on Bonus! Shift premium +$2.00/hr. Rotating schedule working 12-hour shifts from 7pm-7am. Must train on 1st shift. Pay based on experience! Seda North America is an air conditioned, exceptionally clean facility that designs and produces innovative paper packaging solutions, which include unique insulated coffee cups and food industry containers. Requirements

Must have prior experience in thermoplastics
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate percentages
HS Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or other certification a plus
Ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50lb weight unassisted and remain on feet standing and walking for 8-hour shift

Responsibilities

Operate extrusion equipment to create plastic sheets
Set up machine with proper materials based on recipe
Verify parameters meet customer specifications; adjust if necessary
Monitor machine to observe color, light and gauges to detect malfunctions
Perform quality checks regularly
Assist Thermoforming department as needed
Assist with tooling prep and change overs
