Their plants are hand-grown in an environment designed to reduce unwanted chemicals and pests, ensuring a natural process. Products are developed to alleviate symptoms associated with serious medical conditions such as cancer, including seizures, severe muscle spasms, pain, nausea, and loss of appetite. The company's trained staff collaborates with physicians to provide appropriate products and dosages for compassionate patient care. The Extraction Technician I supports extraction and production operations, focusing on prepping, weighing, and ensuring the quality of input and output material. This role requires attention to detail and an understanding of extraction equipment and science.

Requirements

Controls and instrumentation experience
Ensure timeliness of return from breaks

Work with chemicals, oils, and sharp objects
Be able to lift 50 lbs.
1+ year in working with processing quality at Trulieve
Able to work under minimum supervision
Able to work under pressure
Able to manage changes in working schedule
Must be 21 years of age
Must be able to pass state mandated background screening
A High School Diploma
Outstanding communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Work in close proximity and with cannabis flower and particulates on a daily basis
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
Strong analytical skills with a focus on safety
Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection)
Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
Must have proven mechanical and problem-solving aptitude
Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers and leadership
Working in an environment with equipment that produces continuous low-level sound (Moderate noise)

Nice To Haves

SAP/Emaint/state mandated system (Metrc, Biotrack, MJ Freeway) entry experience preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure incoming inspections (moisture, texture, overall quality, size through sort, etc.) of incoming batches of flower and pre roll material are being performed
Ensure proper bud size per brand standard, weigh out and package flower, fresh frozen, and/or trim during and after machine operation
Perform auxiliary duties (fill socks, retrieve material, monitor ovens, etc.) and support the extraction tech 2 in operations
Trained to perform basic machine setup, inventory documentation, and observe/record metrics of operation. Conduct and document routine equipment checks and minor adjustments during operations
Fill out all proper paperwork checks and PM documentation, submitting any issues with equipment to leads and Facilities and Maintenance
Ensure sealing machine is operating correctly, checking that the seal is to standard and machines are operating correctly
Ensure cleaning processes for equipment, supplies, area, and verification paperwork is filled out, and PPE per cGMP and Trulieve maintenance standards are being performed
Maintain detailed records of completed tasks for documentation and traceability, collaborate with the facilities and maintenance team and leadership to resolve any issues and questions in the documentation
Monitor equipment to ensure optimal performance to SOPs and address any issues and escalate any anomalies or concerns to extraction tech 2 or 3
Notify leads of any quality, machine operation, and material challenges as they occur, as well as fixes performed
Attend to other job duties as assigned by management
