The Extra Help/ ESPN Camera Operator will assist with operating the camera and other duties as assigned. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Must be able to work home events as needed
• Must be able to work weekend and late nights
• Must be professional and punctual
• Must respond quickly to directions
• Need strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other crew members
• Able to coordinate with camera assistants, grips, and other departments to ensure smooth camera movements and efficient workflow

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operating the camera equipment
• Collaborate and work closely with the producer and the team
• Responsible for operating various camera support equipment.
• Monitor technical aspects of the camera equipment during shoots
• Must follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of the team and themselves
• Responsible for the maintenance and organization of camera equipment
• Collaborating with the technical crews
• Ensure that all equipment is tested and maintained before filming begins
• Resolve technical and practical problems
