The Extra Help/ ESPN Camera Operator will assist with operating the camera and other duties as assigned. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Must be able to work home events as needed
- Must be able to work weekend and late nights
- Must be professional and punctual
- Must respond quickly to directions
- Need strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other crew members
- Able to coordinate with camera assistants, grips, and other departments to ensure smooth camera movements and efficient workflow
Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating the camera equipment
- Collaborate and work closely with the producer and the team
- Responsible for operating various camera support equipment.
- Monitor technical aspects of the camera equipment during shoots
- Must follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of the team and themselves
- Responsible for the maintenance and organization of camera equipment
- Collaborating with the technical crews
- Ensure that all equipment is tested and maintained before filming begins
- Resolve technical and practical problems
