About The Position

ENTRY LEVEL MANUFACTURING EXTRA BOARD POSITIONS Must have a High School or General Equivalency Diploma (GED). Must be able to work entry-level jobs and be able to work in an industrial environment. Must be willing and able to work an unpredictable 12-hour shift schedule which includes: days, nights, and weekends that can change with very little notice to cover vacancies. Must be willing and able to work overtime and work on most holidays. Two years of work experience is required. Experience in industrial work such as manufacturing, logging, or construction is a plus but not required.

Requirements

  • Two years of work experience is required.
  • Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
  • Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in industrial work such as manufacturing, logging, or construction is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Operates routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
  • Carry out routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
  • Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
  • Maintains logs and records of units produced.
  • Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
  • Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Follow safety regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
