About The Position

The Extra Board Beverage Server (Part-Time) is responsible for providing superior guest service to patrons of our casino while serving beverages. Duties include taking beverage orders and upselling, accepting money and making change, processing credit transactions, operating POS system and assisting the bartenders with stocking and maintaining a clean work area. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager. Starts at $16.76/hr plus tips and increases to $17.31/hr plus tips after successful completion of a 90-day orientation period. Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required Bartending School (helpful) Experience & Requirements: Six months previous cocktail serving experience is required Must be able to work with POS systems Must have the ability to work well with guests and co-workers Must have good communication skills Must have valid TIPS card and a valid Washington State food handler’s card Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to use a tray and carry up to 25 pounds Must have the mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment Additional Requirements: Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays All applicants must obtain a III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. However, the use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant unless the position requires driving a company vehicle.
