About The Position

The Extra Board Barback assists bartending staff while performing barback duties. Duties include providing superior guest service while interacting with guests on the casino floor, provideing relief assistance to bar staff when needed, stocking beer, wine, liquor, mixers, ice and dry goods and assisting with keeping the bar area clean and presentable at all times. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager. Starting wage is $16.76/hr increasing to $17.31/hr at successful completion of 90-day orientation period. Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required Bartending School (preferred) Experience & Requirements: Must have one year of food and beverage experience Must have the ability to work well with guests and co-workers Must have good communication skills Additional education or related experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of this position Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours Must have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds Must have the mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment Additional Requirements: Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays. Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIB license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
