Starting February 2026 - External Relations VISTA – MINNESOTA
About The Position
The External Relations VISTA will further College Possible's efforts to address the lack of knowledge surrounding college for low-income students and schools who lack a college going culture in the Minnesota region. The role focuses on creating a strategy to raise awareness around this problem and to shed light on how College Possible is helping students to achieve their goals of a higher education on a daily basis. In addition, the VISTA will assist in ensuring key stakeholders receive accurate and relevant communication regarding programming updates and College Possible community news in a timely manner. The External Relations VISTA will increase the capacity of the development and communications department by creating a sustainable messaging system disseminated through mass-emailing and social media platforms with the goal of enhancing stakeholder engagement and raising College Possible's profile in the Minnesota region and beyond.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong writing and organizational skills
- Interest in education, nonprofits, and expanding community access
- Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; basic communication tool skills a plus
