Role reports to: Senior Director External Quality Location: North America, United States, New Jersey, Summit Work Location: Hybrid What you will do This co-op with the External Quality team will provide you with an opportunity to deliver solutions to consumers in real time! The intern will be a key member of the team helping achieve a key objective of timely delivery of consumer products. You will also maintain and publish key performance indicating metrics for the team. In addition, you will get an overview of the intricacies of a complex supply chain and challenges of navigating through it.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status)
  • Minimum of 2 years complete of a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) program is required (A focused degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Biological Sciences is preferred)
  • Eligible to complete an 6-month co-op/intern. This assignment will take place from June 2026 to December 2026
  • Strong social skills, including professional communications, both orally and through email, with internal and external partners
  • Ability to take initiative to continuously improve personally and through optimizing processes used in the role
  • Strong computer skills (e.g. use of Power BI, Word, Outlook and Excel), and the ability to learn new software systems.
  • Familiar in the use of Artificial Intelligence tools for research and problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Improve maintenance of third-party vendor lists
  • Increase efficiency of processes through the use of technology such as Smartsheet, AI, PowerBI, SAP/OneS4 Hana, etc.
  • Collect and review quality documentation against pre-determined specifications, including but not limited to batch records, certificates of analysis, and certificates of manufacture for product approval.
  • Support the collection, review and organization of master documentation data, both hard copy and electronically, to ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.
  • Lead and provide support to various continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supports product qualification and validation activities as part of ongoing support to marketed products as well as new product launches.
