About The Position

The External Event Communications Operations - OPS is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and oversight of non-athletic external events hosted at University of North Florida Athletics facilities. This role helps maximize facility utilization and generate auxiliary revenue while maintaining brand standards and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Current full-time Communications staff member within UNF Athletics
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedule

Nice To Haves

• Experience in event management preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site event communications staff member for external events hosted in Athletics facilities
• Coordinate pre-event planning meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Develop and distribute event run-of-show documents
• Ensure facility branding standards are upheld during external events
• Coordinate promotional support if required
• Capture event metrics for reporting and future sales efforts
