About The Position

Make a difference in the lives of young people through hands-on learning and leadership development. This internship supports 4-H and youth programs that help youth build life skills, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging while exploring a wide-variety of interests. Interns will gain meaningful, real-world experience delivering programs, mentoring youth, and engaging with communities. You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team that values creativity, positive youth development, and community connection. This role offers a mix of in-person programming and planning, with opportunities for flexible scheduling depending on program needs. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • Have an interest in the Extension program
  • Dependable

Responsibilities

  • Program & Event Support Support and coordinate 4-H summer camps and programs (STEM, Language Arts, Performing Arts, Day Camp, Prepare for the Fair)
  • Education & Content Development Develop curriculum for summer youth programming in rural Utah
  • Research & Evaluation Administer evaluations, and report program impacts for summer youth programming in rural Utah
  • Community Outreach & Partnerships Initiate service-learning opportunities in rural communities
