About The Position
Porter Medical Center is seeking an experienced and passionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team, providing coverage across Express Care and the Emergency Department. Position Details Full-Time: 0.9 FTE (36 hrs./week), Exempt Schedule: 10–12-hour day shifts, no nights; some weekends Compensation Range: $56.83/hr. – $79.56/hr. About Porter A 25-bed critical care hospital in Middlebury, VT, Porter is part of the University of Vermont Health Network and offers hospital, primary, specialty, and rehabilitation services. Emergency Department Snapshot Beds: 10–12 | Annual Visits: ~10,000 Specialty support: OB, Ortho, Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Urology Imaging: 24/7 CT, on-call ultrasound, weekday MRI Why Middlebury? Requirements
- NP or PA degree from an accredited program
- Vermont license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS & ACLS required
- 1+ year Urgent Care or acute care experience preferred
