About The Position

MFM Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our new Express Care team in Middleton, MA. This full-time role is focused on delivering same-day care for urgent but non-emergent medical needs. Candidates must be committed to providing timely, high-quality care with compassion and clinical excellence. At least 2 years of experience as a NP or PA is required. This position requires two weekends per month with corelated days off. Total hours worked per week will be 38-40. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
Valid Massachusetts licensure and board certification as an FNP or PA all ages.
Valid Federal DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (MCSR).
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat acute conditions such as upper respiratory infections, minor injuries, rashes, UTIs, gastrointestinal complaints, and other common urgent care needs.
Perform focused physical exams and medical histories.
Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests.
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
Document all care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
Ensure patient safety, satisfaction, and continuity of care.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams.
Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards.
