About The Position

Cleaver-Brooks is looking for an Exports Specialist to join our team in Thomasville, GA. The Exports Specialist is responsible for accurately picking and preparing export orders, managing all necessary customs documentation, and coordinating with carriers and customers to ensure timely and compliant international shipments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; education, training, or certifications in logistics is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, particularly communicating via email.

Nice To Haves

• Multilingual skills are highly preferred to support communication with international customers and carriers.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Pick and prepare parts for export shipments according to order specifications.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and packaging requirements.
• Export Documentation: Prepare and manage all required export and customs documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin).
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and trade laws.
• Logistics Coordination: Schedule and coordinate pickups with freight carriers.
• Communicate with customers and freight forwarders to confirm delivery timelines and resolve any shipping issues.
• Inventory & Warehouse Support: Maintain accurate records of shipped goods and inventory levels.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including receiving and stocking.
• Compliance & Quality: Ensure all shipments meet company and regulatory standards.
• Stay up to date with changes in export regulations and customs requirements.
