Join us—and help shape what’s next. We are looking for an Export Logistics Coordinator in La Crosse, WI. The Export Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing export documentation and coordinating domestic freight tendering activities. This role ensures the efficient and compliant movement of shipments while meeting regulatory, carrier, and customer requirements. This position oversees freight tendering, carrier coordination, rate management, international documentation accuracy, and compliance with country specific regulations. This role serves as a cross-functional link between Logistics, Regulatory, Operations, Sales, and Customer Experience.

Requirements

  • Education Required: Bachelors’ Degree require in business, supply chain or related field. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Experience Required: Minimum three (3) years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field. Export documentation experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Logistic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert for all export-related documents and activities at MHFGH.
  • Research and monitor international import regulations and country-specific documentation requirements.
  • Prepare and manage Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Free Sale, Manufacturer’s Declarations, and other required export documents.
  • Coordinate with Regulatory and Operations teams to ensure documentation accuracy and alignment with export requirements.
  • Maintain organized export document control systems to ensure audit readiness and traceability.
  • Support USDA, EU Sanitary, and other regulatory audits related to export programs.
  • Provide timely support to customers regarding export documentation requirements, questions, and shipment status.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update internal processes and documentation procedures as needed.
  • Manage daily domestic logistics shipments, including preparing orders, selecting carriers, tendering freight (LTL and TL), and scheduling dock appointments.
  • Maintain accurate shipment and carrier information within TMS, ERP, and internal systems.
  • Assign carriers, track shipments, resolve service issues, and ensure on-time performance.
  • Lead freight tendering processes to ensure capacity alignment and cost optimization.
  • Participate in RFI/RFP freight bids and support rate negotiations with carriers and brokers.
  • Maintain current rate structures by lane and ensure pricing accuracy.
  • Maintain and evaluate carrier performance scorecards and recommend carrier changes based on service and cost performance.
  • Provide freight rate quotes, transit times, and mode recommendations to internal teams and customers.
  • Oversee fleet truck scheduling and monitor freight savings performance.
  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety Protocol: Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. Correct or report any observed safety hazards. Support safety policies and programs.
