About The Position

The Export Account Executive job consists of multiple roles encompassing customer service, supply chain, and operations. Included as primary roles and responsibilities: Receive and process end to end customer requests for purchase orders, order changes, adjustments and cancellations, manage and/or coordinate production scheduling and multimodal transportation for shipment of export orders Collaborate with CB Supply Planning, Mills, Transportation Planning, Freight Forwarders, and International Distribution to ensure that customer orders are executed according to strategic business direction Deliver exceptional customer experience by proactively managing expectations and resolving issues promptly. Apply pricing policies and procedures Interact closely with Sales, Customer, Finance, Credit and Inventory Accounting to resolve purchase order or invoice related variances and other cross-functional team members to resolve customer disputes Ensure all shipments are invoiced correctly and on time Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience. Manage inventory at container freight stations

Requirements

  • 2+ years customer service, supply chain, or export experience preferred
  • Knowledge/experience with planning and scheduling
  • Knowledge/experience with transportation planning and warehouse management
  • Knowledge/experience with inventory management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge/experience of export operations preferred
  • Spanish fluency preferred
  • Bachelor degree in business, logistics, supply chain, operations management or equivalent required
  • 2+ year extensive Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • SAP R/3, APO and Order Management system experience
