Bayshore Club is looking for winning personalities to join the team! Bayshore Club is a beautiful waterfront restaurant located in the heart of Coconut Grove. Our establishment offers a unique dining experience with stunning views of the bay, a diverse menu of fresh food, and a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality. Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Expo to join our team. The Expo plays a crucial role in ensuring that all dishes leaving the kitchen are prepared to perfection and meet our high-quality standards. You will be responsible for organizing and garnishing plates, coordinating with kitchen staff, and ensuring orders are accurate and timely before they are served to our guests.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar role in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and in a timely manner.
- Check the accuracy and presentation of each dish before it leaves the kitchen.
- Garnish and plate dishes according to the restaurant's standards.
- Ensure that each order is complete, including sides, sauces, and any special requests.
- Communicate with servers to ensure that they pick up the correct orders for their tables.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with restocking necessary items in the expo area.
- Work closely with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure efficient and smooth service.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any guest concerns or special requests.
