About The Position

As part of the Mount Magnet Exploration team, you'll support drilling programs, field activities, data capture, and geological interpretation. You'll work closely with Senior Exploration Geologists while developing your skills across RC and DD logging, mapping, sampling, and near-mine targeting. This is an excellent role for someone who loves fieldwork, enjoys being part of an engaged team, and is keen to take that next step in their exploration career.

Requirements

• Degree in Geology, Earth Science, or equivalent
• Strong field skills with confidence logging RC and/or DD
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously when required
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Commitment to safety and good field practice
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced operational environment

Nice To Haves

• Gold experience is highly regarded, especially WA goldfields

Responsibilities

• Conduct high quality RC and DD logging in line with site standards
• Support near-mine drilling programs including planning, daily execution, and QAQC
• Undertake mapping, sampling, and general fieldwork activities
• Maintain accurate geological data capture and reporting
• Assist with updating interpretations, sections, and geological models
• Collaborate with Mine Geology, Senior Exploration Geologists, and wider operational teams
