In this role, you will support exploration and geoscience teams by ensuring high-quality geoscientific data is captured, managed, analyzed, and made accessible across its full lifecycle. You will work with modern geoinformation platforms, geological databases, and GIS tools, contributing to data-driven decision-making across the organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline required
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with GIS platforms, including configuration, administration, or customization preferred
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively across teams preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of exploration and geoscience data platforms.
  • Manage, validate, and maintain geological and geospatial databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and support tools, utilities, and workflows for data analysis, querying, and reporting.
  • Ensure interoperability and proper data exchange between geoscience and GIS platforms.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and support updates to geological databases and related systems.
  • Assist with data audits, quality control, and validation of historical and active exploration data.
  • Support the integration of third-party applications and systems.
  • Analyze and manage geoscientific datasets to support exploration programs.
  • Administer and manage geoscientific information using GIS technologies, primarily ESRI-based platforms.
  • Provide training and support to users involved in the entry, management, and use of geological data.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to data and digital initiatives across the business.
  • Other duties as assigned.
