About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Systems Integrator to support the Advanced Analytics Platform (AAP) within the Counterproliferation Advanced Analytics Division (AOCC). This role provides direct support to the AAP Program Management Office (PMO) and works closely with AOCC leadership, the AAP Program Manager, and technical leads to ensure sustained mission responsiveness and rapid delivery of advanced analytic capabilities. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of program management insight, systems engineering expertise, and enterprise integration experience to help evolve a high-performance compute and big data platform supporting critical GEOINT missions. What You’ll Do Support the AAP PMO’s strategic decision-making and resource management through development of decision briefs, CONOPS, system architecture documents, and program artifacts. Partner with the AAP Program Manager, Technical Lead, and Lead Systems Engineer to evaluate and evolve the platform’s technical design, including high-performance compute and big data environments. Generate clear, actionable systems and programmatic documentation for diverse audiences and purposes. Assess and recommend solutions that enable rapid, iterative technology development while leveraging NGA enterprise IT capabilities. Advise the AAP PMO on integration with NGA enterprise IT services and represent the program with internal and external stakeholders as needed. Identify and manage cross-project dependencies to ensure alignment to a shared user vision. Evaluate proposed data and technology insertions, providing prioritized recommendations and summary materials for leadership review. Coordinate with engineers to assess impacts, risks, and tradeoffs related to capability and data changes. Engage mission users and customers to define future capabilities and shape platform evolution. Participate in strategic and tactical planning, system architecture development, and mission service evolution. Assess emerging technologies using quantifiable, traceable criteria to support informed decision-making. Conduct Analyses of Alternatives (AoA) and deliver data-driven recommendations. Identify key decision points and provide clear options and recommendations to leadership. Communicate architecture changes, operational concepts, and project status to users and stakeholders. Produce weekly activity reports and develop effective technical briefings for senior leaders and mixed technical audiences. Clearly explain complex technical issues and coordinate resolution across organizations and agencies. Provide guidance on acquisition and program management best practices. Draft documentation describing both current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) platform states.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent technical experience).
  • 18+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, or systems development.
  • Experience in government or industry supporting:
  • DoD and/or Intelligence Community acquisition processes
  • Agile or SAFe Agile systems development
  • Integration of bespoke capabilities with enterprise services
  • Merging disparate system architectures
  • CONOPS development and systems documentation
  • Defining future-state solutions with incomplete or evolving requirements
  • Supporting or conducting GEOINT analysis
  • TS/SCI clearance, with ability to obtain SCI and successfully pass a polygraph.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in one or more GEOINT analytic tradecraft disciplines and analytic production system development.
  • 3+ years of experience with government acquisition processes.
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile systems development environments.
  • Prior experience supporting NGA Analysis or a similar analytic organization.
  • Experience working with high-performance computing (HPC) and big data systems.
