Bring history to life. As our Experiential Holocaust Education Manager (Field Educator), youll deliver powerful, interactive learning experiences to students and communities across San Diego County. Using Spark Interactive, the Legacy of Light Goldberg Institute for Holocaust Educations Mobile Learning Center, a state-of-the-art traveling classroom and museum, youll help thousands of learners engage with survivor stories, explore the consequences of hate, and build empathy and understanding. This role is perfect for an experienced educator, museum professional, or community facilitator who is passionate about Holocaust education, connecting with students, and innovative learning. Youll join a creative, mission-driven team shaping a new model of education in motion. The Field Educator will serve as the primary guide and facilitator of the Institutes Mobile Learning Center, an interactive experience designed to deliver dynamic, innovative, and accessible Holocaust education to schools and community sites by traveling to these locations directly. The Institutes Mobile Learning Center is scheduled to launch in San Diego in March of 2026. Prior to the community launch, the educator will actively participate in planning, preparation and other critical tasks to ensure a successful launch. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal abilities, comfort with technology, and a love of teaching. The educator should be a confident presenter, an agile troubleshooter, and a passionate ambassador for Holocaust education. Training will be provided in all aspects of the Mobile Learning Center, and technical support will be available through partner vendors. This position also involves working closely with a growing team, including contributing to special projects as needed.
