The Granite Grill in Richmond, Virginia, is hiring part-time and full-time Experienced Sauté or Grill Cooks to join the opening kitchen team of this highly anticipated, new full-service restaurant! Significant experience as a Sauté Cook or Grill Cook in a full-service, high-volume restaurant is required for this position. Sauté and Grill Cooks are essential to the success of the kitchen and help deliver exceptional meals by: Prepping, cooking, and plating menu items to meet our high standards Ensuring timely and accurate food delivery in a fast-paced setting Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, following food safety protocols Operating kitchen equipment efficiently and safely Communicating effectively with kitchen staff and service team to ensure smooth service

Requirements

  • Kitchen experience in a full service, high-volume restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and knife skills
  • Ability to multitask in a busy kitchen environment
  • Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • Must be 18 years of age, able to lift up to 30lbs, and able to stand/move about the kitchen for the duration of the shift
