As a result, a full-time position is available for a highly motivated individual to join our Building Engineering group as an Experienced Electrical Engineer. This opportunity is available at either our Denver, CO or Madison, WI office locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in electrical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university
  • At least 6 years of relevant electrical experience
  • PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states
  • A valid driver's license and some travel (up to 25%) will be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Designing low and medium voltage power, lighting systems and controls, fire alarm and detection systems
  • Preparing construction document drawings using Revit
  • Designing electrical systems using power design (EasyPower preferred)
  • Using lighting calculations software (AGI32 preferred)
  • Coordinating the preparation of construction document drawings and specifications
  • Providing construction administration services and site visits related to electrical systems
  • Mentoring less experienced engineers and designers

  • Preparing construction plans and specifications of electrical systems
  • Developing probable construction costs
  • Providing construction administration and site visits
  • Mentoring less experienced staff
  • Other tasks as assigned.
