Requirements

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in architecture or related field
  • 7+ years of professional architectural design experience
  • Actively pursuing licensure or currently Registered Architect
  • Demonstrated ability navigating zoning laws, obtaining necessary permits from city governments, and implementing building codes.
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating concept-to-completion work
  • Proficiency in Revit (required), Rhino, Lumion, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Deep understanding of construction detailing, materials, and building systems
  • Ability to lead design efforts independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working directly with clients and consultants

Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural design from concept, schematic design, and design development through construction documentation
  • Produce and oversee high-quality drawings, renderings, and presentations
  • Translate client goals into innovative, buildable design solutions
  • Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, civil, landscape, lighting, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards
  • Conduct Construction Administration (CA) tasks, including submittal review, RFI processing, and site visits
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews
  • Mentor and guide junior designers
  • Support project managers with schedules, deliverables, and design quality
  • Contribute to firm design standards, best practices, and workflow improvements
