This position is an invaluable part of the Still Hopes family! Below is a picture of the impact a cook has and what being a difference maker looks like! Responsible for cooking meals for our various restaurants on campus. We are currently seeking experienced cooks to work under the direction of our Executive Chef in preparing food items according to established standards. Applicants must have a high standard of cleanliness and safety awareness at all times as well as experience in a large kitchen and a good understanding of DHEC kitchen regulations. In addition, applicants must be able to execute basic cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, braising, baking etc. Applicants should be a team player, solution oriented with a positive attitude. Food experience in high volume environments such as a hospital, nursing care facility, or school is preferred.

Requirements

High standard of cleanliness and safety awareness at all times
Experience in a large kitchen
Good understanding of DHEC kitchen regulations
Able to execute basic cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, braising, baking etc.
