Experienced Civil Engineer - Data Center
About The Position
Olsson offers multidisciplinary design services for major companies worldwide. We design large hyperscale data center campuses across the U.S., providing opportunities to work on complex engineering projects. As an Experienced Civil Engineer you will perform a variety of routine engineering assignments that strengthen knowledge and experience with engineering staff, methods, practices, and programs while under direct supervision and mentorship. This position assists with generating ideas and creating designs that provide purposeful, high-quality solutions to successfully solve engineering and design needs. You will provide basic project design through Civil 3D drafting, prepare project schedules, perform research, and write technical reports. We have several current openings and will consider candidates interested in working a hybrid schedule in our Lincoln, Omaha, Des Moines, Overland Park, Phoenix, and Denver office locations. This role offers flexible work options to accommodate diverse working preferences and promote work-life balance.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Must possess or obtain Engineer Intern (EI) certificate
- 2 or more years of related civil engineering design experience
- Proficiency in Civil 3D
