About The Position

Jovie of Tucson is hiring experienced, reliable babysitters to provide independent, in-home childcare for local families and nonprofit partners. This role is ideal for caregivers who have worked alone with children, are confident managing a household independently, and value flexible, part-time work. Please Note: This is a part-time, on-call role (typically 5–20 hrs/week, up to 25). If you are seeking guaranteed hours or full-time work, this position may not be the right fit. This role requires caregivers who have experience being fully responsible for children on their own. Daycare or classroom experience is welcome only when combined with independent in-home childcare experience. Requirements

1+ year of professional childcare experience providing sole care
A) Must include 4+ hour independent shifts
B) Experience may include babysitting or nannying for families, neighbors, or family friends
Experience caring for children across a broad age range: A) Minimum: 1YO through 13 years
Ability to offer 1–2 full weekdays (Mon–Fri) of availability between 7:00AM–7:00PM
Valid driver’s license & reliable personal vehicle
Willingness to transport children when needed
2–3 professional, non-family childcare references
CPR/First Aid Trained (or willingness to become trained)
Must be 18 years or older
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
