Requirements

  • Previous automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Proficient with computers and dealership management systems
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to increase satisfaction and retention
  • Act as the primary liaison between customers and the service department
  • Accurately assess vehicle concerns and recommend appropriate services and repairs
  • Monitor repair progress and provide frequent updates to customers
  • Increase profitability through ethical service recommendations and promotions
  • Coordinate with technicians regarding diagnostics, repair timelines, and parts availability
  • Oversee and participate in quality control to ensure work meets dealership standards
  • Maintain professional image, ethical business practices, and organized work environment
  • Assist in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures
