About The Position

The organization is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Work/Campus Care Solutions team as a floater between primary care, workers' comp, and occupational medicine, primarily covering the Concord area. The role involves providing traditional acute episodic care and full primary care for patients aged 6 months to retirement age, and potentially performing occupational medicine services, specialized physicals, and workman's compensation cases. Requirements

  • NC Licensure and DEA
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • DOT Certification (must obtain after hire if not already certified, within first 90 days)
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care
  • Must be able to work autonomously
  • Must be an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Float to clinics within the Concord area, covering primary care, workers' compensation, and occupational medicine
  • Provide traditional acute episodic care and full primary care for ages 6 months until retirement age
  • Perform occupational medicine services, specialized physicals, and workman's compensation cases as needed
  • Provide after-hours phone call coverage approximately 1 week every 3 months
