About The Position

We are seeking an Expense Management Specialist to support telecom expense review, analysis, processing, and allocation. This role partners closely with finance teams and vendors to ensure accurate billing, proper cost allocation, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently in a small team environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (analysis, formulas, data review).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial review.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Tangoe or similar telecom expense management systems.
Background in accounting, accounts payable, or telecommunications billing.
Experience working with vendors or finance teams.

Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and process telecom invoices, identifying discrepancies and resolving billing issues.
Manage telecom expenses using an expense management platform (Tangoe experience preferred).
Allocate expenses to the correct locations, departments, and cost centers.
Monitor billing for disconnected or inactive services to prevent unnecessary charges.
Review vendor contracts to validate rates, SLAs, and billing accuracy.
Interact with telecom vendors to research issues and ensure proper invoice processing.
Analyze vendor performance against contractual and financial expectations.
Identify opportunities to improve vendor relationships and billing efficiency.
Collaborate with Finance and Vendor Management teams to ensure compliance with internal processes.
Support forecasting and budgeting activities related to telecom billing.
Provide regular reporting on telecom expenses, trends, and variances.
