About The Position

The Expeditor ensures production jobs move through the shop floor efficiently by coordinating between departments, resolving constraints, and accelerating work-in-process to meet delivery commitments. Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
High School Diploma
Ability to read, speak and write in English
Forklift Certification (Training can be provided.
Understanding of routings, travelers, and shop floor operations.
ERP experience (Epicor preferred).
Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
Ability to assist with process improvement.
Ability to work directly with operators and supervisors.

Responsibilities

Responsible for moving parts based on job operations as they are completed.
Ensure completed operations are promptly reported in ERP and properly stamped off in the traveler.
Expedite jobs delayed due to material, labor, tooling, or quality issues.
Coordinate priorities with supervisors and planners.
Communicate job status updates to Production Control Planning Team.
Support recovery plans for late or high-priority orders.
Assist with part staging, job sequencing, and re-prioritization.
Identify bottlenecks and escalate issues impacting delivery
