About The Position

Active Spine and Joint Institute is seeking a full-time Exercise Specialist to join their expanding multidisciplinary team of Chiropractic Physicians, Occupational Therapists, Nurse Practitioners and Exercise Specialists. The role involves assisting with providing care to patients across their four offices in Mount Laurel, Northfield, Marmora, and Rio Grande, NJ, with an immediate opening in Mount Laurel. Active Spine and Joint Institute is a multidisciplinary Chiropractic, Rehabilitation and Medical team that provides drug-free, non-surgical treatments to help patients recover from pain and become active again. The institute has been in operation for over 34 years with four offices in South Jersey and is continuing to expand.

Requirements

• Able to teach and motivate patient effectively
• Strong customer service, teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills are required

Nice To Haves

• Exercise Science or related field with knowledge of Exercise, Kinesiology or Health Promotion
• Fitness certification

Responsibilities

• Actively assist patients through prescribed rehabilitation
• Functional Movement Screenings
• Help patients with modalities
• Orthotic fitting
• Patient education
• Patient vitals
• Knowledge of rehabilitation exercises
• Ability to explain rehabilitation exercises to patients
• Floor supervision
• Equipment Maintenance
• Checking patients in and out
• Collecting copays
• Scheduling Patients
