PRN Overview Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is the largest hospital in Missouri and is ranked as one of the nation's top hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. Barnes-Jewish Hospital's staff is composed of full-time academic faculty and community physicians of Washington University School of Medicine, supported by a house staff of residents, interns, fellows and other medical professionals. Recognizing its excellence in nursing care, Barnes-Jewish Hospital was the first adult hospital in Missouri to be certified as a Magnet Hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Role Purpose Creates and implements exercise programs for cardiac rehabilitation and wellness participants. Performs professional and program development. Content includes but is not limited to strength conditioning, coordination, agility, core stabilization, weight management/weight loss, and lifestyle changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree - Physical Science
• <2 years
• No Experience

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree - Physical Science
• ACSM/ACE/NSCA/NASM
• Basic Cardiovascular Life Sup

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe and appropriate exercise programs through design, implementation and management of the exercise programs to meet client needs
• Provides and documents education and training to clients, family, staff and others directed toward achieving and ensuring optimal outcome viewed by the client.
• Ensures program growth and development to continue to meet client's needs and expectations.
