About The Position

Performs and maintains exercise prescriptions. Conducts patient exercise therapy and education sessions as specified. Notifies the leader of changes in the patient's condition, performance and response to treatment. Works closely with health care team members to assure a cohesive approach to patient care. Assists in administrative duties for Cardiac Rehab and assists in covering other areas of Rehab Services as assigned. Participates in organizational wellness initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in exercise science/physiology with training or coursework in Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab.
• Exercise Specialist certified by the American College of Sports Medicine or eligible to test for the same.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year appropriate experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience/training/coursework in Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab preferred.
• 2 years of related medical experience preferred.
